According to report, Mrs Umashashi Sharma riding a car along with her few supporters reached Chandan Nagar locality here on Wednesday morning to campaign for her party candidate Sudarshan Gupta who is seeking his election from Indore - 1 Assembly constituency. When the people came to know about this, they complained police about the matter.

Subsequently, the Chandan Nagar TI along with police jawans, went to Chandan Nagar and arrested Sharma who was found to be at the residence of former corporator Bhagwati Sharma, on the charge of violation of election code of conduct. She was later taken to the police station from where she was released only after writing a letter stating that she had gone to the locality in connection with water problem.
